Vol. 477 No. 7

Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.

Mary Coughlan

Question:

103 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Education if she will reconsider an application by Creevy national school, Ballyshannon, County Donegal, for an extension to the school; if she will meet a deputation from the board of management; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10215/97]

I regret to inform the Deputy that as my diary is fully booked for the foreseeable future, I am unable to meet a deputation from Creevy national school, Ballyshannon.

The position regarding the application for an extension to the school as outlined to the Deputy in Parliamentary Question No. 339 on 22 January last still prevails. My Department is continuing to monitor the enrolment situation at the school and will be in further contact with the school at the appropriate time.
