I propose to take Questions Nos. 107 and 112 together.
The following table gives a breakdown of all the costs orders made by the chairman of the beef tribunal and in the cases where the Taxing Master has made orders it shows the amounts paid to date by this Department. The claim from the legal representatives of Deputy O'Malley has been taxed by the Taxing Master and objections are being prepared. No bills of costs have been presented for taxation in any case other than those shown in the table. My Department has no outstanding claims for witness expenses from civil servants. The question of an appeal to the High Court in relation to the recent ruling by the Taxing Master in the Laurence Goodman, Goodman International and Subsidiary Companies claim is being considered.
