Question:143 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid 1995 and 1996 suckler cow scheme premia. [11671/97]

The correct herd number for the person named is P122113X. Following a review of his 1995 suckler cow premium application the person named will be paid six grants at a reduced rate as one of the animals applied on was rejected as an invalid breed. His 1996 application for suckler cow premium is now being processed. I am making arrangements to have the outstanding entitlements paid without delay.
