114 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Education when a resource teacher will be appointed to Scoil Rois (details supplied), Taylor's Hill, Galway, which was applied for in 1996, in view of the transfer of traveller children into the school; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department recently approved the appointment of a special teacher for traveller children in the school in question. The school authorities were notified of this development by letter dated 24 March 1997.
