Vol. 478 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tax Refunds.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

42 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance if he will have arrangements made for a tax refund to issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork, who is unemployed. [11860/97]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of having received a claim for a tax refund from the person concerned. A letter has now been issued to the taxpayer requesting the documentation required in order to process any refund which may be due.
