Vol. 479 No. 3

Written Answers. - Joint Trade Commission Meetings.

Joe Walsh

Question:

51 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the plans, if any, he has to seek a meeting of the Joint Trade Commission between Ireland and Iran; and the date on which the commission last met. [13092/97]

In my written reply to the Deputy on 8 April 1997, I set out the position in regard to the Joint Commission for Economic, Industrial, Scientific, and Technical Co-operation between Ireland and Iran, to which the Deputy refers. Since that date there have been no further developments with regard to holding the joint commission.
