Vol. 481 No. 2

Written Answers. - Flooding Compensation.

Michael Creed

Question:

87 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if the Government will extend the scheme of compensation for flood victims to persons in County Cork who suffered serious flood damage due to heavy rainfall in recent weeks. [15852/97]

There is no scheme available for the compensation of victims of flooding in 1997, nor are there funds allocated within the Vote for the Office of Public Works to make compensation payments to flood victims in County Cork.
