Paul Connaughton

Question:

42 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Education and Science whether he has had his draft legislation for the protection of students against closure, in whole or in part, of private third-level colleges examined by his Department with a view to early enactment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16682/97]

My Department is currently examining the various options available with a view to introducing legislation at the earliest opportunity to protect students and their parents against the collapse of private colleges.
