Emmet Stagg

Question:

114 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the number of trips made by Irish civil servants in his Department over the past two years on official business to Luxembourg; and the cost of those trips. [17131/97]

During the period 25 October 1995 to 30 June 1997, 48 trips were made by civil servants in my Department on official business to Luxembourg at a cost of £11,319. This figure does not include the cost of services provided by the Air Corps. Part of this cost is recoverable from the EU.
