Vol. 482 No. 1

Written Answers. - Departmental Costs.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

22 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the cost, direct and indirect, associated with changing the name of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17292/97]

Every effort was made to ensure that costs associated with the change in name of my Department were kept to a minimum by, for example, depleting existing stocks of the former Department's headed notepaper. As a result it is estimated that the total cost came to less than £5,000, relating mainly to the cost of a new seal, rubber stamps etc.
