55 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will give details of the role and responsibilities of his new adviser; the salary paid to his adviser; his view on the conflict, if any, there is with his position and membership of the board of Bord Fáilte; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I presume that the Deputy is referring to my appointment of Mr. Pádraig Ó hUiginn as part-time consultant to advise me on policy aspects relating to the work of my Department at an annual fee of £1,000. I am not aware of any conflict between this arrangement and his membership of the board of Bord Fáilte.
