Written Answers. - Tax Reliefs.

Liz McManus

Question:

182 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Finance if he will include the proposal by the Irish Charities Tax Reform Group who are seeking tax relief on corporate donations with restrictions in the Budget; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18150/97]

I have received a submission from the Irish Charities Tax Reform Group concerning a tax relief for corporate donations to charities. Senior officials of my Department have met representatives of the Irish Charities Tax Reform Group to discuss their submission and proposals in this regard will be considered in the context of the budget in December.
