196 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department has considered the valid case made by University College Hospital, Galway, the Western Health Board and Croi, Galway, for the provision of cardiac surgical facilities at University College Hospital, Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The question of the provision of cardiac care services is under review at the moment. An announcement will be made on the location of additional cardiac services when this review is complete.
