Vol. 482 No. 3

Written Answers. - Special Education Needs.

Michael Ring

Question:

355 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have arrangements made for an official from his Department to urgently call to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo to discuss her child's future education in view of the fact that she feels he is not ready for secondary school. [17618/97]

I was not previously aware of the case referred to by the Deputy.

Inquiries are currently being made with a view to ensuring that appropriate arrangements are made for the education of the child in question.
