Vol. 482 No. 3

Written Answers. - Aer Lingus Group.

Ivor Callely

Question:

100 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the current financial position of Aer Lingus and TEAM Aer Lingus; the current profit or loss per week of these companies; the cumulative debts for Aer Lingus and TEAM Aer Lingus; her views regarding these matters; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17938/97]

The Deputy will appreciate that, for reasons of commercial confidentiality, it would not be appropriate for me to reveal details of the current financial performance or borrowings of companies within the Aer Lingus group. The latest published annual accounts of the Aer Lingus group were in respect of the year ended 31 December 1996, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.
