Question:317 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when the Brosna water scheme, County Kerry will go to tender; and if work will commence in 1998. [18731/97]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
My Department approved contract documents for this scheme in April 1997 and I understand that Kerry County Council has advertised for tenders. A tender recommendation by the council is currently awaited in my Department and I am not in a position to say when work will commence.
