Written Answers. - Ballyfermot (Dublin) Civic Centre.
The Semperit inter-agency group established to assist in finding a response to the job losses at Semperit, submitted proposals for the establishment of a civic community centre in the Ballyfermot area. The proposed centre would include meeting rooms, training rooms, office facilities, childcare facilities, cultural and arts centre, youth information, employment service and an enterprise centre. Assessment of this project is progressing. Consultation between the local authority, my Department and other relevant Departments is ongoing.
