Question:

294 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will fund the Ballintubber sewerage scheme, County Roscommon and when he will make money available in this regard. [20489/97]

A preliminary report for Ballintubber sewerage scheme is with my Department, but having regard to the existing high level of commitments under the water and sewerage investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve the scheme.

295 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if money has been provided for the Tarmonbarry water supply scheme; and when work on this scheme will commence. [20490/97]

Having regard to the existing high level of commitments under the water and sewerage investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this scheme.
