402 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will grant aid to the Convent of Mercy secondary school, County Roscommon to enable them to carry out the necessary repairs and refurbishments to the gymnasium at the school. [20519/97]
An application for grant-assistance towards repairs to the gymnasium at the Convent of Mercy secondary school, County Roscommon has been received in my Department. Unfortunately, due to the limited capital finances available it has not been possible to proceed with these works to date. However, the project will continue to be reviewed in light of available resources and competing priorities.
