318 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when his Department will make funds available to Leitrim County Council to enable the council to alleviate overcrowding in the home of a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim; and if he will make a statement on the matter. No proposal for funding for this case has been received in my Department from Leitrim County Council. Where the cost of work proposed does not exceed £20,000, the approval of the Department is not required subject to the cost being met from the council's capital allocation for the local authority housing programme.
