493 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education and Science when the plans to provide a new school at Gaelscoil Scoil Raifléiri, Castlebar will be approved, for which moneys have already been allocated; and when work will commence in this regard. [21356/97]

The plans to provide a new school at Gaelscoil Raifléirí, Castlebar, have been approved. The school management has been asked to confirm that a contractor will have unrestricted access to the site. When this has been obtained, a contractor can be appointed.
