79 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation whether discussions have taken place between his Department and the Department of Education and Science regarding the use of school sporting facilities for local community based sporting groups during non-school hours; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am anxious to adopt a more strategic approach to the provision and usage of facilities and in this context, I intend exploring the possible use of school sporting facilities for local community-based sporting groups with my colleague, the Minister for Education and Science, whose responsibilities include school premises.
