Vol. 484 No. 2

Written Answers. - Civil Service Staff.

Seán Doherty

Question:

114 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for Finance if the grading system for legal personnel is the same in the Chief State Solicitor's Office, the Revenue Solicitor's Office, the Director of Public Prosecution's Office and elsewhere in the public service. [21779/97]

The grading system in each relevant Civil Service office, and in the wider Public Service, is determiend by the nature, quantum and quality of the legal work arising in each such office. Accordingly, no two offices will have the same structure.
