34 Mr. Gormley asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the agreement, if any, which exists between her Department and a company (details supplied) whereby the company is not required to conform to legislated environmental standards. [22013/97]

The company referred to by the Deputy has been in private ownership for some time. It received no exemptions from any legislated environmental obligations.
