254 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the total amount of money allocated in 1996 to each local authority by way of rate support grant; and the total amount of money raised by each local authority by way of water and sewerage charges in 1996. [22845/97]
The total amount allocated in 1996 to each local authority in rate support grant is set out in Table A. Estimates supplied by local authorities of amounts of domestic water and sewerage charges collected in 1996 are shown at Table B. Audited outturn figures in respect of these charges are not yet available.
