352 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if a grant for major refurbishment work urgently needed at a school (details supplied) in County Dublin will be made available from the 1998 primary school building development fund in view of the fact that this school has been waiting many years for this funding. [22875/97]
The provision of improved accommodation at the school referred to by the Deputy will be considered in the light of existing capital commitments and the future funding available to my Department. I am not in a position at present to indicate when grant aid will be provided, but the project will be kept under review within my Department and a decision will be conveyed to the school management as soon as possible.
