Question:69 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Defence the number of FCA and Slua Muirí units where personnel serving therein were medically examined in 1997 for hearing issues, particularly in relation to the 8th battalion which was examined earlier this year by a medical orderly; the action, if any, that has subsequently been taken in relation to those who apparently were found to have defective hearing; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
