Vol. 486 No. 1

Order of Business.

Before I call the Taoiseach, I understand that once the first proposal — expression of sympathy — has been agreed the expressions will be taken immediately, following which I will proceed with the remainder of the Order of Business and put the remaining two proposals to the House.

Expressions of sympathy on the death of Mr. Jim Gibbons shall be taken now. The Order of Business proposals shall be taken after completion of expressions of sympathy. It is proposed that expressions of sympathy shall be confined to the Taoiseach and party leaders or a Member nominated in his or her stead and shall not exceed five minutes in each case.

Are the proposals for taking the expressions of sympathy agreed? Agreed.
