566 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will approve an application for lottery funding from an organisation (details supplied) for the purpose of improving support and information services for people with eating disorders; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1550/98]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen):

The organisation to which the Deputy refers submitted an application for lottery funding to my Department earlier this month. I have not yet made any decisions in respect of approving applications for lottery funding for this year. However, I can assure the Deputy that this application will receive every consideration.
