Vol. 486 No. 1

Written Answers. - Housing Aid for the Elderly.

Michael Ring

Question:

591 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when the necessary remedial works will commence to the home of a County Mayo person (details supplied) who applied for this some time ago under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme. [1841/98]

As the Deputy will be aware, the administration of the Housing Aid Scheme for the Elderly in the Mayo area is a matter for the Western Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to investigate this case as a matter of urgency and to respond directly to the Deputy with the board's findings.
