660 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government whether he has considered the National Youth Council of Ireland submission on the case for weekend voting; and if he will take this into account in fixing the date for the forthcoming by-elections and referendum. [1743/98]

In fixing polling day at the forthcoming by-elections and referendum, I will take the National Youth Council of Ireland's submission as well as other relevant factors into account.
