723 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands when funding will be made available for the planning of an airstrip on Inishbofin in view of the fact that the feasibility study for its provision has been completed and submitted to her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have noted the contents of the feasibility study referred to and the estimated capital costs involved in providing such a facility. This particular project will be evaluated together with the many other demands which were raised with me in the context of the comprehensive access provision plans being drawn up by my Department for our offshore islands.
