811 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if his Department and each body under the aegis of his Department have complied with sections 15 and 16 of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997; and the location where the documents required under these sections may be obtained by members of the public. The Freedom of Information Act will commence on 21 April 1998. My Department is currently in the process of preparing the relevant publications which will be made available in printed form and electronically on our Internet site. Final decisions on where the printed materal will be publicly available will be taken and publicised closer to the commencement date of the Act.
