180 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will report on the working group on the care of the mentally ill; when their report will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2554/98]

I assume the Deputy is referring to the care of the disturbed mentally ill. The position is that work is continuing on the preparation of a document on this matter which will be circulated to all health boards for consideration when completed.
