Vol. 486 No. 3

Written Answers. - Special Education Needs.

Paul Bradford

Question:

291 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education and Science the proposals, if any, he has to deal with the concerns of a group (details supplied) in Cork following his meeting some weeks ago with representatives of this group; in particular, the proposals, if any, he has to deal with the lack of sufficient places in special schools in Cork city and county. [2584/98]

As promised at my recent meeting with representatives of the group in question, I have arranged for officials of my Department to meet the group to discuss their concerns in detail and consider what action can be taken.

The meeting with the group will take place on Wednesday, 4 February 1998.
