126 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of the 1995 EU suckler cow grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2514/98]

The herdowner was deemed to have made a false declaration and was excluded from the 1995 and 1996 suckler cow scheme. He lodged an appeal with the headage and premia appeals unit. The appeal was unsuccessful. The herdowner has been notified of the outcome.
