Question:

143 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if, in view of the urgent need for extra facilities at Scoil Mhuire, Clane, County Kildare, he will specifically request that the procedures yet to be undergone in connection with the provision of facilities will be expedited; if he will indicate the precise extent of the proposed facilities; the latest date by which he expects to be in a position to approve the start-up of site operations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The school to which the Deputy refers has requested grant-aid towards an extension. At present, I am not in a position to make any commitment towards this project as capital funds are fully committed.
