70 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in the progressing of the VEC college for the north side of Drogheda; the current position in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3560/98]

The architectural design of the replacement school for St. Laurence's vocational school, Drogheda, is progressing. The design team is currently working on stage 3, that is the developed sketch scheme.
