187 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of reports of alleged child abuse currently awaiting investigation and assessment within each health board area; the number of reports currently under investigation and assessment within each health board area; and, in relation to these cases awaiting investigation and assessment, the reports outstanding for two months or more. The statistical and information records retained by my Department do not furnish the level of detail requested by Deputy Shatter. I have requested the health boards to forward to my Department the details requested by the Deputy and I will communicate further with him when the information has been received and collated.
