Vol. 487 No. 3

Written Answers. - Garda Stations.

John Perry

Question:

265 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the plans, if any, there are for renovation on Easkey Garda station, County Sligo, in view of the fact that it is a very old architectural building and in decaying condition; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3943/98]

The Garda authorities have informed me that the Garda housing officer will visit this station in the near future to assess the condition of the building. Following this visit a decision will be made as to what works should be undertaken to provide for Garda needs at Easkey.
