295 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a request from a national school in County Cork (details supplied) for a grant towards the installation of a new heating system and a complete overhaul and improvement of electrical fittings. [3817/98]
The school referred to by the Deputy has applied recently to the planning and building unit of my Department for grant-aid for works to the heating and electrical systems. The application has been referred to technical staff for report and, as soon as a report has been received, my Department will be in further contact with the school management.
