103 Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals, if any, he has for the development of services at the former Orchard Hotel at Kilrush, County Clare; when the project will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4464/98]
The Mid-Western Health Board purchased the Orchard Hotel premises to further develop its community based mental health services. The facility, which is being fully refurbished, will provide a day centre and high-support accommodation for 28 residents who will relocate from Our Lady's Hospital, Ennis. In addition, a vocational training workshop to cater for ten-15 trainees will be provided. The project is due to be completed in April-May 1998.
