Question:253 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the arrest and deporting of a Greek Orthodox deacon priest (details supplied) back to Romania who was participating in a Diploma in Ecumenical Studies at the Irish School of Ecumenics in Dublin; if his student visa application will now be approved in view of the fact that he paid for the full tuition fees, was unable to complete the course and participate in the postgraduate course; and, in view of the important role of the Irish School of Ecumenics nationally and internationally, if he will personally review this matter.
