Vol. 488 No. 7

Written Answers. - Autism Services.

Nora Owen

Question:

243 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Health and Children the facilities he can make available to the parents of a young person (details supplied) in County Dublin who is autistic so that the parents can have their child properly cared for at this early stage to give him the best possible opportunity to progress to the fullest extent despite his autism. [7321/98]

As the question of the provision of suitable services for the child mentioned by the Deputy is currently the subject of court proceedings, it would not be appropriate for me to make any comment on this matter at this stage.
