128 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason for the delay in having approval issued for a sewerage scheme (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in view of the fact that it was indicated by his Department in 1994 that the scheme would commence in 1995; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A revised preliminary report for a sewerage scheme at this location was submitted to my Department in October 1993 but, given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve it. There is no record in my Department of the commitment referred to.
