118 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will rescind the decision made by his Department on a 1997 and 1998 REP scheme payments for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7889/98]

The above decision is the subject of an appeal to the Department's REPS appeals committee. In this context a further on-farm inspection and review of the case has been carried out which will be considered by the appeals committee.
