Written Answers. - Acute Hospital Accommodation.
The question of whether patients are appropriately occupying acute hospital beds is a matter of clinical judgment and individual patient circumstances. My Department does not routinely collect national data on this matter, therefore, I have asked the health boards and voluntary hospitals in all health board areas to assess the situation in their organisations and I will communicate with the Deputy as soon as the information is available.
