Written Answers. - Special Areas of Conservation.
I presume the Deputy is referring to the compensation package for farmers with SAC lands within the REP scheme. My Department has been negotiating an improved package of measures under REPS to compensate farmers who have lands in special areas of conservation. The completion of all formal EU approval procedures for the revised package is expected shortly.
