290 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Education and Science if a lap top computer with a voice synthesiser can be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 who needs this equipment to help with his education. [9903/98]
My Department has received a request from the school attended by the person in question for a range of equipment, including lap top computers, for use by pupils with visual impairment. This application is being considered by my Department, which will be in further contact with the school in the very near future.
