Written Answers. - Television Reception.
As I have indicated previously to the House, efforts are ongoing under the auspices to the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Conference to bring about a significant improvement in the reception of RTE television services including Teilifís na Gaeilge in Northern Ireland. RTE, in conjunction with the UK broadcasters, have scheduled test transmissions at significantly higher powers in the immediate future. It is hoped that the results of these tests can pave the way to finalisation of the process.
